Mike Killian has retired as Director of Golf at Galloway National Golf Club.

    According to Hill, Killian will continue at Galloway National Golf Club as Senior Professional and a member.

     Lamp has previous ties to the Atlantic City golf scene. He is currently Head Professional at Deal Country Club but was formerly Head Professional at Blue Heron Pines in Egg Harbor Township. He also served as Assistant Golf Professional at Pine Valley.

 

     GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, NJ – Mike Killian, who has served as Director of Golf at prestigious Galloway National Golf Club, the Tom Fazio-designed course near Atlantic City, has announced his retirement and Jason Lamp has been named new Director of Golf. Members of the club were advised of the changes in a letter from Club Chairman Vernon Hill on Wednesday, December 17, 2014.

 

 

 

 

   

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

    In a letter to Galloway management and members, Killian thanked ownership “for the wonderful opportunity that they afforded me 14 years ago when they named me Director of Golf.” He also expressed thanks to his staff and membership at Galloway while also recognizing Lamp as “a longtime friend and a class act.”

     Galloway has long been recognized as one of the top modern courses in the world and in 2012 hosted a USGA National Championship event with the Men’s State Team Championship event.
